From Wednesday 1st September 2021 we will now be operating in Alert Level 3.
We appreciate that this is trying and uncertain times for all and we are going to do our best to operate in a safe manner.
We have job restrictions in place and strict Health & safety Protocols to help protect our staff and customers. This will ensure that everyone remains safe and well. We thank you in advance for adhering to our requirements.
In level 3 we will not be entering anyone’s home / premises to undertake work. We will review this for level 2.
If you or anyone in the house is self-isolating we will have to defer your job for when you are out of the isolation period.
We have a list of questions to help determine if we can work safely at your home / premises. Please don’t be offended when we ask for this information as we need to make sure that our employees are working in a safe as possible environment. This is to help protect them and all the customers that they will go to.
The glazier will call you when he is on the way to your job. When he has arrived he will call you again, so he does not need to knock on your door and have as little close contact as possible. Please wear a mask or face covering if you need to show the glazier where the job site is. We prefer to collect all this information when you phone your job through to us if possible.
We need to be able to work from the outside only, so please ensure that our glazier can access your job site easily enough before he arrives. This includes clearing away all obstacles in the work site vicinity. All pets are required to be kept away from the area of work. All household contacts are to remain out of the room that is requiring the work and no one is permitted to be within at least 5 metres on the outside whilst the job is being carried out. For all timber reglazes we are not permitted to put down drop sheets on the inside, so we would appreciate if you can remove all close by furniture, tie back curtains and put down newspaper or old blankets or mats to help catch any debris that may fall inside. We will try to limit this as much as possible.
The glazier will carry contactless mobile eftpos for payment. No cash will be taken unless that is the only method you have for payment – please advise us of this when you are booking in your job. When making your payment with either your eftpos or credit card please ensure that you are wearing a mask or face covering. This helps to protect you and the glazier.
Glass / Mirror Only Orders: please phone or email your order through to us. We take credit card or debit visa for payment over the phone or we can email you an invoice for payment and when this has been paid we will text you when you are able to collect. Pick up will be contactless. Please phone us when you have arrived to collect your order. Remain in your car and we will place your order outside, we’ll give you a wave, then you may get out to collect it.
Ali or timber sashes or caravan sashes: please phone ahead to place your job and tell us when you are going to drop off your item. We will tell you where you can place your item when you arrive. We will then call you with the price and to get payment over the phone or we can email you an invoice for payment and when this has been paid we will text you when you are able to collect. Pick up will be contactless. Please phone us when you have arrived to collect your order. Remain in your car and we will place your order outside, we’ll give you a wave, then you may get out to collect it.
During Level 3 our office hours will be from 8.30 am – 4.00pm Monday – Friday.
